Francis Neric

Francis Neric is the National Director of Certification for the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Francis earned a BS in Exercise Science from California State University, Long Beach in 2002 and an MS in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Fullerton in 2005, as well as an MBA with a concentration in management from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2016. 

Outside the classroom, Francis has coached age-group through master's level swimmers for over 10 years. Before coming to ACSM, he worked for the National Strength and Conditioning Association in continuing education, exam development, and project management. He and his wife and have two daughters with whom they enjoy exploring and investing in life experiences.
