Special Populations 6-CEC Course: Diabetes for the Exercise Professional
This CEC course was created to give fitness professionals a greater knowledge and understanding of how to work with clients with either diabetes or prediabetes, who may have health complications that must be managed during physical activity for them to train safely and effectively (without causing physical or emotional harm). Fitness professionals need special training in these topics to work with these clients, which is one in three Americans currently (100 million people).

POLAR and ACSM Presents: Heart Rate Monitoring Assessment Course
This course will provide both fitness professionals and heart rate monitor enthusiasts a foundational knowledge of the physiology of heart rate and how to build an effective heart rate based training program. This course will primarily focus on utilizing five heart rate training zones through the exercise disciplines of cycling and running. In addition, utilizing online platforms such as Polar Flow and TrainingPeaks to manage heart rate training will be addressed.
